I am a self-described "reniassance nerd", with wide and varied interests and hobbies - from playing bass guitar and trombone (as well as some singing), to building my own bass guitars, from being VMware certified, to running an in-house lab and multiple storage arrays, cooking, making my own sausage, photography, bicycling, and the list goes on (and on).

Music
I've been playing music in one form or another for my whole life; it's what makes my world go around.
I currently play bass guitar, trombone and I sing (a bit).
I've been addicted to funk music for a long time now, so my bass style is around the groove and the feel of it.
For trombone my musical tastes are quite varied, but I tend toward funk, ska and afrobeat.
